PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES & CERTIFICATION
Membership Categories
There shall be FIVE grades of membership as follows:
1.AFFILIATED MEMBERS.
This shall consist mainly of health shop proprietors, non-Physician involved in the Natural Health Trade, Supporters of Natural Medicine, Members of Relevant Pressure Groups, and Members of Professions Supplementary to Medicine, health workers, Traditional Birth Attendants, Traditional Healers etc. Minimum qualification is BECE plus NVTI in relevant practice or discipline.
2. ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
This shall consist of Natural Health practitioners with a minimum of W.A.S.C.E./G.C.E. (Ordinary Level), ‘A’ Level and Health Assistant who have trained to a Diploma level in any of the fields of Natural medicine and are involved in full time practice for up to three years. Evidence of training, certificates and diplomas must be presented for evaluation.
3. FULL MEMBERS
Qualified person Doctors with relevant Professional University Education Degrees and Professional Diplomas in any aspect of Natural Medicine.
Allopathic Doctors with interest in Natural Medicine as well as physiotherapists, dentist, pharmacists, Medicine Laboratory Scientists etc. can be listed as members subject to the approval of the Executive Council of the Association.
4. FELLOWSHIP
This is a special honour bestowed on well –established Physician in Natural Medicine and persons who have made contribution through long services to humanity thru their research findings inventions and innovations in natural healthcare.
MERIT AWARD / HONOUR FELLOWSHIP /CORPORATE MEMBERS
This is awarded to deserving members of the lay public, as identify on recommendation by members. Nominations for Honorary Fellowship must be backed with full Curriculum Vitae on the achievement of the Nominee in terms of qualification, and service to humanity.
Honorary award will be given to distinguished and exemplary persons who do not necessarily practice Natural Medicine but who have made scientific discoveries and breaking through in the service and uplifment of humanity.
These awards must be subject to the approval of the Executive Council of the Association. Only a few distinguished individual will be selected from time to time and bestowed this high honor of our Association.
CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP shall be awarded to corporate organizations, clinics, schools and institutions involved in Natural Medicine.
MEMBERSHIP FEES & ANNUAL DUES
Membership fees included Registration, Certificates, ID Cards, Stickers etc.
Annual dues are renewable each year.
